The Gallery
Welcome Welcome to my rustic retreat,my hideaway and studio.The gallery is in the heart of Normandy 20 mins from Rouen and 20 mins from the coast(Dieppe). From spring 2009 the "La Vieille Gallerie" will be available to book for holidays through "French country cottages".The house is nestled into the heart of one of Normandies most traditional secluded "class A Heritage"protected villages BEAUNAY. A completely authentic Hamlet with only a dozen houses to complement the church, the local school, the town hall, the village pond and of course the Gallery itself. Danny  A convieniant "Half way House" Danny can be found working from the house, either painting or cutting wood for the Galleries wood burners. The Artist has lived at the house for the last 7 years between the uk and France to visit his son Alfred, who spends many weekends with his Father on route back to Brighton.  Relaxing Gardens |  Roses in full bloom Within the self enclosed gardens there is fine collection of many different roses, trees, camping area and campfire complete with tree house. There is parking for 6 cars  The village Church The village church is 200 yards away , the church bells sound on the hour and extra long bells for Dinner and Supper. There is a extremely old cemetery with beautiful public footpaths in the surrounding area Friday the dog  Robinson's constant companion Friday Mostly hunting (un-sucsessfuly) for moles Friday can be seen wandering here, there and every where.A Thouroghbred mongrel and sea dog, she makes the transition between country dog and city stray very well.
